PRINCIPLES/FUNDAMENTAL [top]

"ART.Welten – Association for independent artists" whose activity is not directed toward profit, aims at the creative creation, production and promotion of the art in the sense of film, literature, photography, music, theatre as well as painting/drawing. Therefore the goal is: the production of own artistic projects, management, coordination, realisation and presentation of the mentioned projects, as well as production, support and promotion of other projects which exist and are developed in the sense of the art.

"ART.Welten – Association for independent artists" is not a place for people who are:

misogynical
homophob
rasistic
otherwise discriminative against others
primarily interested in material values

but for those who are at first place interested in the art.

Our requests are:

The spreading of the art off the mainstream
The contact to other artists in the sense of a mental and creative exchange as well as on the level of any artistic cooperation
Occurring against discriminations of each kind as for example homophobia, misogynism, racism etc. = any disadvantage of people due to their ethnical origin, skin colour, sexual orientation, sex, religious affiliation or handicap
A public-making of queer topics and ways of living
An integration of the art into the society

Artistic liberty with few restrictions:

No member (neither founder nor member of the board (inclusive revisor) as well as any other member) can be forced to create or cooperate (production and/or trade) in a project that is against his/her own conviction and artistic intention. Everybody has the artistic liberty to deal with its art in a way which is not conforming to the intentions and conceptions of other club members. It will be always clearly evident from whom the project idea comes and who is therefore responsible for the project. Nevertheless the "ART.Welten"-focal point lies on the ambitious art apart the mainstream. Therefore “ART.Welten” has the right to raise objection against topics which offend roughly against the intention of the founders and the members of the board and to reject a publication/marketing under the name of “ART.Welten”. This concerns projects which are racistic, misogynical, homophobe or differently offend the will and the rights of people. We dissociate ourselves from pornographic and right-wing extremist projects. A cooperation on that field is totally impossible.

Legal situation with projects:

Each member is responsible for his/her project. If “ART.Welten - Association of independent artists” helps within the production and/or marketing of a project of a member or an external person and/or is involved in the PR work that does not mean that “ART.Welten” is responsible for any losses (of any kind). “ART.Welten” is to be acquitted by all financial remunerations in each regard. The rights of a project remain in each case by the project leader/manager. This person has to be always characterized exactly evidently and marked as such. In each case it has to be written and clarified (on behalf of each project) who settles possible financial losses. No member of the board is obliged to financially contribute anything to a project or plug fiscal gaps. Everything must be always exactly documented within each project before the project starts. Except for the case that “ART.Welten” declared itself in advance to help a project any type whatsoever, financially, “ART.Welten” is in each case free of any financial support or payment of fiscal gaps and deficits within the projects. No member of the board is responsible for another member. The responsibility is by the respective project leader/manager. She/he determines her/his project. This has to be written down, specified for each project individually. “ART.Welten” must be informed about these agreements in advance, if “ART.Welten” takes part in the production and marketing. In each case applies: “ART.Welten” is not responsible for the projects of its members. Nobody is responsible for the project of another. It is therefore always to be exactly written and specified within each project who takes on which responsibility and how the possible financial gain is to be divided, which although can’t be presupposed in any case. In each case the project leader is obliged to do that. She/he is taking final decisions concerning her/his project. If she/he is a board member, she/he can’t nevertheless make “ART.Welten” responsible for her/his project. Like always applies also here: in each case everything has to be written down, documented in advance. “ART.Welten” isn’t responsible for the project of anybody in any case. For problems it is possible to directly contact the Founder/President.

"ART.Welten - Association for independent artists" owns all rights for the data as well as for any pictures on the own sites. All pictures and data which weren’t made by any club member or by projects of club members, produced by them and put at free disposal, are concreted and marked. It will be possible to obviously recognize the proprietor of the work. All data, personal data and pictures were taken over and presented on “ART.Welten” with the approval of the artist. The personal data and private pictures weren’t in no case taken to “ART.Welten” without permission of the proprietor. “ART.Welten” deals confidentially with all freely provided data and has the irrevocable right to publish them without restriction on the own sites, without financial remuneration to the persons who made the data and pictures as well as to third persons. The data and pictures will not be given to third persons, if the proprietor hasn’t given an additional approval. If there are problems in understanding on that matter it is at any time possible to directly contact the executive committee.
